These videos provide step-by-step guidance and are recommended before configuring or adjusting the holster.
Configuring for Left-Handed or Right-Handed Carry
The Level I Micro Holster can be configured for either left-handed or right-handed carry.
To change the orientation, simply install the belt loop attachments on the opposite side of the holster body. The same hardware can be used for either orientation, allowing the holster to be quickly adapted to the user's preferred draw hand.
Installing the OWB Attachments
Step 1
Align one OWB belt loop attachment with the mounting posts on the side of the holster.
Step 2
Apply firm, even pressure until the attachment clicks securely into place.
Step 3
Verify that the belt loop extends outward from the holster body so it can properly wrap around the belt.
Step 4
Repeat the process for the second OWB attachment.
Installing the IWB Attachments
Step 1
Align one IWB belt loop attachment with the mounting posts on the side of the holster.
Step 2
Apply firm, even pressure until the attachment clicks securely into place.
Step 3
Verify that:
- The hooked portion of the attachment faces downward and away from the holster.
- The attachment loops outward from the holster body to properly engage the belt.
Step 4
Repeat the process for the second IWB attachment.
Important Installation Check
After installing either attachment set, it is critical to confirm that both attachments are fully seated.
When properly installed:
- The attachment should produce a noticeable click during installation.
- The attachment should rotate smoothly on the mounting posts.
- The attachment should not bind or resist movement.
If an attachment is not fully clicked into place and force is applied while rotating it, the attachment may snap or become damaged.
Before carrying the launcher, gently rotate each attachment to verify it moves freely and is fully seated on the holster body.
Adjusting Retention
The Level I Micro Holster includes an adjustable retention mechanism.
To adjust retention:
- Insert the launcher into the holster.
- Test the draw resistance.
- Adjust the retention screw as desired.
- Verify the launcher remains secure while still allowing a smooth draw.
Retention should be adjusted to the user's preference while ensuring the launcher remains securely held during normal movement.
Final Check
Before carrying the launcher:
- Verify both attachments are fully installed.
- Confirm both attachments clicked securely into place.
- Check that both attachments rotate freely on the mounting posts.
- Confirm both attachments are evenly positioned.
- Verify the holster mounts securely to the belt or waistband.
- Test launcher insertion and removal.
- Verify a smooth and consistent draw.
Users should spend time practicing with the configured holster before carrying the launcher.
